She is a seeker with an Au Ra first name and a male keeper's name for her last name to replace her biological father's name. Neither of which are names she was given on birth. Sayuri is the younger sister to X'zentsa Gahvino. However, they don't share a father. One fretful night, a Tia who had an issue with Zen's father attempted to challenge the Nuhn to a fight. To which he lost and was permitted to live. That same Tia, out of pure rage for losing, took it out on Zen's mother, her father's favorite mate... To which, Sayuri was created.Gahvino was quite obviously upset by the ordeal. He wished to erase the evidence of the occurrence, but Sayuri and Zen's mother didn't have the heart to let him. Sayuri was born, and raised for a few years. Marked with the shameful name of X'adebh Mitnu. Eventually, Gahvino threatened to get rid of the child. Not wanting to look at it anymore. He still wanted to erase all evidence of what happened. Especially with the Tia still trying to come and see his daughter. The mother couldn't bare the thought of her daughter being killed for something that wasn't her fault.Out of desperation, she gave the child to a traveling Ronin, a Keeper of the Moon who enjoyed Eastern culture, and begged him to take care of her. To which he agreed, despite his own young age at the time. For her own safety, he provided her a new name. A name he heard from the far east that he liked. Sayuri, Lily. Growing up with the man, she learned a lot. Even took on his first name as her last name to still keep that Seeker naming tradition. Because, for all intensive purposes, Koh'sae is her father. Even if not biologically. And she respects him higher than anyone else.

Koh'sae Taiga
Koh'sae was like a father to me. He took me in and raised me when no one else would. It didn't matter that he was a Keeper of the Moon and I was a Seeker of the Sun. He still loved me as his little flower. He wasn't the father I asked for, but he was the father I needed. I hope I do him proud. May he rest in peace.

X'zentsa Gahvino
My older sister. Many say I resemble her a lot. Though, the only thing we truly share is the same mother. I didn't even get to grow up with her. Now that we've been reunited, it's like I have a family again. We train together a lot to keep our skills up. Though to be fair, I wouldn't have join this pirate crew if she didn't ask me to.

Sayuri used to be in the original Thunder Cats before it was disbanded then reforged into the privateers they are today. In her time away from the crew during that break, she became a hired mercenary to make money and take care of herself. Sayuri mostly acts as the lookout for the crew, earning her place as the Crow. It's her job to make sure the Captain knows about everything she sees.
